(Thomson you better read that awesome thing and my story and comment!!... Trish too!)

Anyways here it is, stage one and two!!

Waiting

Stage 1

“And then I waited…”
Gix’s hand was firmly pressed on the side of his face. His cheek wrinkled making it hard to see out of his right eye. His Elbows pressed firmly against the open windowsill. A slight spring breeze that tussled thick locks of his jet black hair back and forth. Yesterday it had rained so hard Gix thought that his tiny little shack would crumble to the ground. Today was perfect and Gix sat by the window and contemplated his life.
It had been ten years ago perhaps that he had first met Zefer. Zefer saved him and took him to this modest little shack millions of miles away from humanity. They lived there for a couple weeks. Gix was happy; he had never had a friend before. Not a single one. Gix decided that he would devote the rest of his life to make Zefer happy. Zefer was much more ambitious then Gix was. He said that he would go and make his fortune out there in the world. Before leaving Zefer asked Gix to hold down the secret fort. Gix agreed. If this was the one thing Zefer wanted him to do, he would do it. And then…
“And then I waited…”
Gix’s shirt was pure white. In all he did for the past ten years he never got one single stain on this perfect shirt for Gix didn’t do much inside the hut that would cause any such stains. Gix breathed in heavily and released the air slowly. This was one of his two past times. Waiting… yearning for Zefer to come back. The other was throwing pebbles at the wall. He had gotten quite good at it, if it is possible to get good at such a thing.
There were a few books that were inside the hut. Gix had read them over so many times he could recite each one perfectly. There was one about Dragons and Phoenixs and another one about words, Gix memorized them all.
The white shirted boy’s eyelashes were starting to flutter shut from such a pleasant breeze. His hand was starting to slip. He gently dropped his head so that it was now resting in the crock of his elbow. He was about to succumb to pressures of sleep when a deep base sound make his spine shiver. His hair was standing on ends as deep base sound turned into faint crackling sounds.
“Wha-“ was all that Gix let himself mutter as he bolted out the door of the shack. The picture from his window was that of a perfect day, Gix turned around and behind the little hut, which was corned by steep hillsides, was a darkening ugly sky. Gix had never thought to climb those hills before… he was content with just waiting for his best friend… but now he had to see what was going on.
The dirt crumbled on the hill along with the grass making the hill feel like it was made out of marbles. Large clumps would go falling down the side of the hill with each handful of earth Gix grabbed. Gix was very careful not to press his chest close to the hill side, for he did not want his white shirt to stain. His pants could tatter all they liked. Brow furrowing, Gix thought “this has got to be the hardest hill to scale in the entire world”. With the hill flattening as he climbed, Gix was able to waddle up to the top on his knees. He was finally able to see past it. This hill was promptly conquered.
The blue sky Gix had been staring at gave way to various shades of darkening gray. Gix could not believe his eyes… for a stone’s through away from where it had been living fro the past ten years there was city. It was the strangest thing Gix had ever seen. Above the city the sky turned pitch black like midnight hung forever over this city’s sky. That was not the strangest thing. The strangest thing that made Gix’s mouth open and eyes squint were the blasts of crackling purple lightning coming from somewhere within the city.
Gix knew better then to wonder into cities that cracked with lightning and stayed forever night, but there was a tingle in his heart. Something inside Gix screamed Zefer. Zefer was with that city. Gix just knew it. Without another thought Gix’s legs started moving. Before Gix could even start thinking his legs were making him run directly towards the city that would only exist in picture books. A city full of evil… and Gix was heading right towards it blindly.

***’”’***

There was no rain in this city. At least it certainly didn’t feel like any rain had pasted through this city at all. The air was dry, upon entering Gix could feel himself licking his lips, and his skin became uncomfortable within his clothes. The air pressure in here made him feel like he would float of the plant. It must have been his racing heart that kept him here on the ground. The stone wall of builds looked like they were screaming in terror. Doors wide open. Glass shattered and brick cracked. Gix roamed around these frightful streets searching for the cause of such evil or Zefer, whichever he happened upon first.
Gix kicked something at his feet; he looked down to see a skeleton. It was a skull. The hair on the back of Gix’s neck hadn’t settled back down since he heard to melody of this lightning city. But now they seemed to jump right of his body. Knowledge told Gix he should know better then to thick that skeleton couldn’t exist without years of decay. But something told Gix that this skull hadn’t been decaying long.
There was a moaning sound that made Gix spin around. A man was laid up against the side a building. He seems brutally injured. His life expectancy seemed nigh. He looked slightly up to see Gix. Coughing sporadically he spoke to Gix: “Boy! Come here…” cautiously Gix stepped toward the man. He was bleeding mortally. Gix’s face turned a hue of green. He thought he might retch. The man held something out to him. Gix looked at it confused. The man continued his last words. “Hero in white… take this. I wasn’t able to… but a hero with such glowing garments would surely defeat him.” The man was delirious. Gix was not use to talking to people. He couldn’t find words grace the dying man with. The man’s head dropped and eyelids slammed shut. The flicker of his life’s candle had just gone out. Gix wasn’t sure want to do. The item in the man’s had now rested upon the ground as this man now limp and lifeless. He picked it up. Still not sure what it was. It seemed to something like a right angel made with various bolts and strips of metal. As a testament to the dead man Gix took it with him, whatever it was.
A sharp bolt of that purple coloured lightning zipped above Gix in the sky. Gix took to running, crazed and desperate to find Zefer wherever he may be. Gix rounded a corner and firmly planted his heels to the ground. In a cartoon a comedic screeching sound would be heard here. Gix had just found the cause of the terrible lightning. A man dressed with a blood red shirt and burlap trench coat stood before Gix. There was a aura that surrounded him, it made his pupils shine red. Or perhaps that was Gix seeing the inner lust for blood that this man desired. The man’s sword was in hand and dripping with blood. Gix took in his surrounds for a quick second.
There were bodies laying everywhere. Some recognizable, some only remains of their former form. Gix noticed that not all were deceased. There was some people hugging the remains of fallen family and friends and there where more with handicaps desperately trying to struggle away from this terror. Gix could only wonder at how one man had such demonic and awesome strength. Gix stared hard at this being with thoughts racing through his head.
“Is Zefer here? Is Zefer one of these corpses? Why didn’t I just stay in the cabin?” a bone chilling laugh woke Gix from his daze. Unable to move Gix could only watch as the man walked towards him, speaking three voices at once.
“Hello little lamb. Have you come to my butchery party? Seems a shame to ruin such a snow white fleece, but I am craving lamb chops.” The voices spoke directly into Gix’s soul. That was a truly frightening thing. Gix paused as the figure hastened towards him. Something was not right, besides that fact that he was about to be split into two. It was one of those voices… Gix recognized it. Below the echo and distortion Gix knew it was Zefer voice. This man, this slaughterer was Zefer!
Gix’s bottom lip trembled “Zefer…” scared and confused he spoke in a soft voice “Zefer… why?” The figure kept advancing, cocky smile and all. He was only a few steps away, he raised his sword above his head and was about to bring it down to give Gix a split personality. Gix’s hands began shacking. He stepped forward. Eye’s widened. Zefer tensed. Gix breathed in harshly. He raised his bare hands. Zefer jerked forward. Gix screamed.
“ZEFER!” and time froze.
The mood in this city seemed completely dispelled. Zefer’s eyes were wide open as if he had just been stabbed. His hand stayed just before his weapon connected with Gix’s body. He looks up. “Gix?”
Tears run freely down Gix’s face as he smiles. “Hello, best friend.” And with that he collapses in relief.

Stage 2

Cold tears were on Gix’s face when he came to, sticky in between his eyes lids. But it wasn’t the old tears that wore him up. Something hit the side of his face. Blurry eyes opened and Gix was temporarily sightless. The perfect day was absolutely blinding. Gix face twist up in disgust. The atmosphere was settling down to the normal state it had been at originally. Dust partials where tickling the inside of Gix’s nose. With a quick jerk forward Gix let out a sneeze. Putting his hand behind him he was able to sit up, rubbing his face with his free hand. Sliding his hand down his face he was able to open his eyes once more, to be greeted with a pebble in-between his eyes. Startled, Gix jolted backwards, rubbing his forehead. He opened his eyes once more to specter what must have casted the stone.
The city square was a mess. The square was politely done up with brick walkways that were string up with civilians and corpses alike. Some where still crying over their lost comrades other had fond their feet and where picking up little rocks. Gix watch one of them throw a rock him. They were pleating him with rocks and uttering profanities. Gix ducked his head just in time to dodge that last one thrown. Gix didn’t know what to do he hasn’t been around people for a couple years and certainly never been in a village that was trying to stone him. It was then that he heard a deep raspy sound.
Zefer was bent over in front of him on one knee ahead of him, chin tucked neatly to his chest. His eyes were so wide and his breath was horse, Gix was surprised he didn’t realize his companion’s traumatized state earlier. He drew his air in sharply. Gix still couldn’t fathom what ill state had befallen Zefer, be it didn’t matter. He was Gix’s best friend and Gix would defend him not matter what.
The towns folk were now gather, well the ones that could at least. Each one adorned a livid face. They clasped pebbles in their hands. They were angry and confused about what outrageous acts had been taken in their poor town. Revenge was about to be extracted. But Gix would not stand for it. As the group of villages started casting their first stones Gix noticed that they were aiming at Zefer, and rightfully so, he was the one that brought done their town. Gix too found his feet and immediately began hitting the rocks away from striking Zefer. It appeared to be a futile effort. Many rocks were still hitting Zefer and some of the villagers started to purposely hit Gix. Getting a little frantic, Gix began into more erotic movements. Trying anything he could to stop the stoning.
“Get out of here!”
“Murderers!”
Zefer glanced over his shoulders at Gix’s efforts. The whole thing made him sneer. His eyes dimmed as a familiar feeling started echoing through Gix’s bones. A Maniacal laugher could be above all the shouts and all the screaming. Everybody froze.
Zefer rose to his feet bringing up everyone’s worries with him. Gix had only been able to stun Zefer for a short period of time.
Zefer lower his head and widened his stance. The air about the whole square started to shift and bend to Zefer’s will. Fear struck hard and the villagers once again started fleeing for their lives. Gix peered behind him so glimpse at Zefer as he charge forward. Place one hand on Gix’s face, Zefer used to momentum to push Gix to the ground and charge forward all in a single step. Some poor child didn’t think to run in the second this went from flogging to fleeing and Zefer promptly cut him in two. Gix quickly stood up from the floor just about as quickly as he had been sent to meet it. Blindly Gix took to Zefer, screaming his name. Zefer only slightly annoyed at this turned to glare at Gix. Gix could see loathing in his eyes, but that wouldn’t stop Gix at all. Gix repeated his name as if trying to wake him up from a deep slumber. Zefer crouched and jumped several hundred feet into the air. Gix instinctively had grabbed a hold all Zefer’s trench coat, and was brought fly up with him. Taking little time to think about the seriousness of being several hundred feet in the air Gix shouted to his friend over and over.
“Zefer!! Zefer wake up! ZEFER! ZEFER!!” Zefer’s body tensed as if trying to lift a building. Then he fell limp. Gix and Zefer flew as if they were both shot out of a cannon, uncontrolled. Gix took Zefer’s unconscious head in his hands and cradled it as they plummeted downward.
Splash
As luck would have it they both landed in a fairly deep river. Gix kept Zefer’s head a float as he doggy paddled himself to shore. He wasn’t much of a swimmer but he wasn’t at totally loss. Gix noticed the blood within Zefer’s clothes starting to seep out into the water, colouring the surrounding water a dark purple hue.
“I can’t even begin to wonder what you’ve been going through.” Gix spoke to his friend in-between swimming breaths for air. He paddled to the shore and hoisted Zefer safely on the bank. A quick survey of the area and Gix recognized his surroundings… he was only a little ways from his hut. This is where Gix would go to collect drinking water. He looked down at his friend whose once blood red shirt was taking on a darker brown colour. “…but you’re home.”
Gix took this time to undress Zefer down to his underclothes and give his clothes a thorough wash. It was pretty nauseating the aroma of blood bleeding out of clothes. Gix almost hated to taint this cool spring river with such a filthy thing. It had to be done. Zefer couldn’t be expected to be dressed in such dishonorable clothes. One by one Gix placed the wet cloths on the thick lush turf beside the river .He then took off hi own shirt and gave it a good soak, making sure that any possible from the city or blood from Zefer didn’t affect his shirt. Gix’s reflection in water was the same one he remembered. A incredibly pale boy. His think black now wet locks of hair hung by his head still dripping water. Gix glanced over. It appeared that Zefer’s short brown hair had already dried up. That thought made Gix’s feel uncomfortably dry again.
Gix twisted his shirt around it’s self and rung it carefully. The first twist caused water to pour from it rapidly. As Gix squeezed tighter the water slowly dripped to the water below. Gix untwisted the shirt and flapped it out a couple times above the river. Little tiny droplets sprinkled the water. Some caught the sun’s light and twinkled before dipping back into the cool water, others flew back and splashed Gix’s face. Gix became quite thirsty and his lips seemed rough. His mouth was sticky and itchy. Gix place the shirt beside him and plunged his head into the water. He gulped the water in by the mouthfuls. After about two are three he threw his head back, spraying the water all over. The tips of his hair were freshly wet and the water dripped down his chest making him a little cold. Promptly shaking the wet hair to rid it of droplets Gix eyed Zefer again, to make sure he hadn’t gone anywhere in the brief moment it took Gix to get a drink.
The sun was beginning to shine a little too heavily for Gix’s pale frame. The water quickly dried and Gix feared a burn. He had earned himself on of those as a child and he did not wish to repeat it. Collecting Zefer and the clothes, Gix placed Zefer on his back, piggy back style and Zefer’s clothes, which were still damp, over either forearm. He covered his teeth with his lips and bit down into his white shirt clamping it in place. A few steps out of the brushes that also grew close to the river and the little hut was almost in sight. Gix could feel his hopes rising. This wasn’t the kind of return he had envisioned Zefer taking nevertheless Gix was happy that it was finally happening.
A step in the door and Gix’s faced flushed. For doing nothing but staying inside the cabin, Gix sure had let in fall into disarray. Throwing the wet clothes momentarily over a chair Gix eased Zefer into his bed which was on the other side of the room from Gix’s. Gix moved to put him under the covers but realized that the bed was incredibly dusty. Gix felt a little dumb. He had kept Zefer’s bed neat these ten years but had had completely forgot about dusting. What would Zefer say if he was conscious? Gix patted the dust off the bed and slipped Zefer between the covers. The dust brushed over Gix’s lips and he felt a familiar thirsty sensation hit him. A thought crossed Gix’s might then, shouldn’t he of got a drink of water for Zefer? Surely he must have been more thirsty then Gix if he was producing the dry climate. Or maybe because he made it he was immune to the effect of such an uncomfortable feeling. Gix pondered away to himself almost forgetting that Zefer was still slightly damp and was slightly soaking the bed.
“Uuuuuh…” Zefer’s voice broke Gix’s bizarre train of thought. Gix noticed the damp bed and ran towards the chest in the corner where he kept the towels. Fully intent on being as graceful as possible, Gix’s shin met the set of the chair as he spun around. This sent the chair, the clothes upon it, and Gix to the floor. Gix didn’t realize he had become such a klutz.
“Uuuh.” Zefer’s voice gave more sighs that Zefer was waking up. “Gix...”
Gix stood up and was at his bed side within milliseconds. “Gix.” Gix was overwhelmed hat Zefer was specking his name. “Gix I’m thirsty can you go get me some water?”
Gix tripped over the chair one last time in his hurry to leave the door.

"Gix began into more erotic movements"

This means he moved in a more suggestive fashion. You were looking for erratic.

Sometimes spelling is important! Neat story, though it's rather vague and confusing at this point.

Thanks for directing us to "that cool thing". I found myself rather amused.
