This on is great check out how retarded Mario looks!

And this one is sad, but I like it.

Anyways thats all I have to tell you about myself today.
Now onto the next stage!!

Stage 8

Harold’s bullet flew out of his gun, there was milliseconds before it would have made impact with Zefer’s skull, marking the last of his days. Gix had grasped it. He dove in front of Zefer, with his gun leading him. He fired instantly. The giant pebble collided with Harold’s bullet and sent it zooming away. The pebble then continued to hit Harold’s long barrel gun, sending it flying out of his hands. Zefer had little time to blink before he saw death in the face and was saved again.
There was a beat.
Harold’s gun hit the ground.
There was another one.
Harold’s mouth hung open wide. He started stammering something out. “Tha-tha-that’s Thomas’s impact gun, how do you--?” Harold couldn’t seem to make make sense of what just happened. Neither could Gix for that matter.
“Shut up!” Gix demanded. “Or I’ll shoot you right here right now!!” Gix wasn’t sure what he was doing. But there was no way he was going to shot Zefer, never, no one would harm Zefer as long as he was around.
“You’re bluffing.” Harold smiled a sly greasy smile. His eyes lowered fixated on the gun. “Ol’Thomas only had one shot before he had to reload, you ain’t got no bullets left---“
“This is my gun.” Gix said coolly. He stood still like a statue. Inside everything was trembling with fear. “I have six shots, that means I could shot you five more times.” Gix looked his expression. “Don’t try me.” Harold shut up after that. Zefer had been still through this whole time, but now his mouth was held slightly open. “Now let us pass!”
Harold swallowed hard before turning aside, indicating that they could pass by. Gix walked pass first not taking his eyes off of the man. The Zefer passed by him. Gix spotted Harold’s gun on the ground and went and picked it up. Harold looked like he was about to object but Gix’s other hand hadn’t moved off of the trigger. Gix walked pass Zefer backwards making sure that Harold wouldn’t move. In a hushed tone he gave instructions.
“Zefer on three we run, are you ready?” Zefer nodded. Gix prepared himself. He mouthed the words, one, two, three! He turned and began running. A couple steps and he heard another explosion behind him. He didn’t have enough time before he heard Zefer shout.
“Don’t follow us!” and a bullet go whizzing off above his head, then the sound of metal meting skin. Gix got a clear vision of a young boy being sliced in two and it made him wince. Not running anymore he went to turn around, but Zefer was right in front of him obstructing his view. Zefer slid his sword into its scabbard once more.
“Don’t look back Gix, not matter what happens always face forward confidently.” The light was behind them, Gix could see Zefer’s darkened face. Zefer continued talking. “Let’s get going. We don’t know if there are anymore hunters after us.” Gix nodded slowly. The back of his neck felt eerily cold. He ran out of there. His chin held up, Zefer only footsteps behind. Gix had only just learnt the names of the places and people he just met, the city of Browket, rocky wall pass, Thomas, and the hunter Harold. Gix wished he could forget those names and leave them far behind him. However they stayed.

Gix pushed his face away from the ground. Clumps of dirt stuck to it. Patting his face he brushed them off careful not to smudge them onto his face. His looked down at his shirt. Dirt had also clumped to it. Gix carefully picked of every partial until it was clean. Inspecting his shirt he looked at his right wrist. The sleeve there had been scored a further shade of black spreading up the forearm a little bit. Gix frowned. There wasn’t any water nearby to attempt washing it. Then again, the first time he washed wasn’t successful at all. Gix looked closely at the marks. They looked they had been made by black dye, tainting the sleeve simple by touch, and completely irremovable. That made Gix’s mind wonder.
Beside him was Zefer he was still asleep. Gix imagined he would be. He hadn’t slept for two night straight now. They had run until they couldn’t run anymore. There was a little cove of trees and Gix and Zefer had promptly collapsed. The sun was just rising then, but now it looked like it was directly above them. Gix simply couldn’t sleep with the bright light shinning on him. Not that long anyways. The looked around to where he had fallen asleep. He didn’t recognize anything. The trees were strange the smells was strange, the animals that scurried around seemed to change completely too. Gix wasn’t sure what to do with himself. He saw the long barreled gun lying on the ground. It seems so still, almost like it was weeping, to stricken with grief to move. Not that such things moved in the first place, but last night it did. Gix grabbed it and looked at it. The barrel and a nice round dent in it. Gix could only assume that was his fault. There was a pain in his gut when he thought about the gun and last night. He then produced the hero’s weapon from the sack on his back. The two people who used to own these were dead, and they were friends. Gix suddenly questioned himself as he watched Zefer sleep. If Zefer died would I go and find his killer? Something inside him hurt when he thought those words ‘Zefer died’. It brought a hot splash to his eyes, and he decided that he couldn’t sit around anymore. He picked up both of the guns and stared walking.
There were a few trees around that grew all tangled amongst themselves. The Braches grew long and thin and appeared very soft. They weren’t, Gix found out. The vine like branches drooped as if they could hold up a weight of standing like normal trees. It seems very grievous. Gix found a spot where the two trees stood apart and their branches seemed to weep over a particular spot in the ground. Gix started digging there. He dug a fairly deep, wide hole. His sleeves were rolled up as to not soil them any further then they need to be. After the hole seemed perfect he took the long barreled gun and threw it in. Covering up the grave he looked around. The grave didn’t seem very well marked. Gix snapped off on of the branches and stuck it at the head of the grave. Even if the branch wilted this is how Harold’s Grave would be remembered. Gix contemplated also burying the impact gun right beside the long barreled one. Gix put it back in the cloth and tied the string around it. This was his gun now, a gift. It was gifted to him, and it was his only memory of his hut that he had left, his last hope of a place where he and Zefer could live happily.
Gix sat quietly in front of the grave paying his respects. Until his legs grew numb. He got up with his gun slung to his back, limping back to Zefer until the feeling returned. Zefer was sitting up waiting for him. He looked up and saw Gix. They both stood there for a while. Gix looked away it seemed to tense to stare at him like that. Gix found his face turn hot. He wasn’t sure was he was having such a hard time talking to Zefer suddenly nor could he find words to says.
“What do you do now…. right?” Zefer broke the silence. Gix looked back.
“Huh?”
“That’s what you were thinking just now right? ‘What do we do now?’ Am I right?”
“Yeah.” Zefer looked down and pondered Gix’s question, even though he had asked it.
“Well…” Zefer was trying to speak through his thoughts. Gix thought this was the first time that he ever saw Zefer stumble over his words. He put his thump to his bottom lip and played with it while he thought. Zefer suddenly snapped his head towards Gix again. “I’ve got it!”
“You do?”
“Yeah!” Zefer was getting excited; he pushed himself up and brushed the dirt off his legs before continuing. “I’ll take you to my favorite city.” Gix expected his voice to sound more excited then it actually came out.
“You mean the big one with the train?” Gix shushed one side of his face as he tried to sort Zefer’s jumble of stories.
“Yeah, I know for a fact that they hold a shooting compaction every few years or so, you’d be perfect!” Gix blushed and wore a frown. Being known for his shooting abilities really didn’t appeal to him at all. Zefer read the look on Gix’s face then turned around. “Plus there is this huge palace right, that’s where the royal family lives. It really is a sight to behold!” Zefer put his hands up and rested them behind his head. “We could live there; there is a ton of other people too.”
Gix’s face lit up at that thought. They did need to find a new home, and what better then a home where Zefer already feels welcome. That sounded perfect. Zefer would never need to travel far away again! Gix was about to speak in agreement with Zefer when Zefer spoke up.
“Although…” Zefer seemed to grow very small with that statement. “Although as you imagine… I… I have a bad reputation around here lately.” Gix could see the shame that had been living in Zefer rise to the surface. “It might not be safe to be seen with me.”
Gix couldn’t care less about what Zefer had done, not one little bit. They were friends and nothing could break that. Gix thought that line in his head and also thought about saying it. Zefer was looking down at the ground. Maybe Gix would tell him that later.
“Well then all we need is a disguise!” Gix thought. Zefer looked up. “Yeah, because they’d only be able to recognize you by your face right? So if we make you a mask you’ll be invisible to the world! Zefer thought for a moment.
“That could work.” Zefer’s mood seemed to lift a bit. But he wasn’t ready to let the topic go. He stared at Gix intently. “Gix… one day… one day I will tell you something. When I feel that you’re ready I will tell you. I don’t know what will happen but when that day comes… please… Please treat me the same you do right now!” Zefer’s words seemed to ring desperation in them.
Gix was a little confused, that statement scared him a little bit. But he didn’t see how anything that Zefer did would change his view of him at all. “Alight…” Gix stared off unsure of his words, and then he became confident. “I promise!” There was a moment after that when it felt like everything so far was soaking into them. Gix broke the silence.
“All right about that disguise.” Gix looked around there wasn’t much around that they could use. Except for those trees. “I’m thinking a mask made out of wood. You can scrape some bark off those trees with your sword.” Zefer set to work on carving himself a wooden mask while Gix looked for some food. A new goal was ready and this was their first step on achieving it.

Well Caramelldansen is quite the way to close off my weekend!

Things are getting interesting with the story, it's starting to come together rather nicely.

Trav, Cara was telling me some Lyrics from that sad one which made me cry just now...

The beginning is talking about how he is alone. Then when he gets the dog the line says:

"My first friend."

And then at the end when the doggie is closing its eyes and it sings 'Daijobu' that's 'It's alright'

And then when he looks up at the sky at the end the line repeats:
"My first friend."

Waaaaah!!! You made me cry!!

HA! And you told me you weren't a writing person. Absolute nonsense. That first paragraph was a total matrix move, my head was dizzy. lol and Gix's move with the gun was so... out of the ordinary. To hear him angry like that with a gun was such a twist! There's a lot of change in this stage, I can't wait to see where this story goes on next.

btw, I love the metaphors with his shirt how he has a black stain on the sleeve now.
