a Dream I Had

Last night I had a dream that made me sad...

I was at a party. I can't recall the reason for the party because I came with a different agenda. There was a girl who was coming to the party whose attention I was very interested in capturing. However there was another boy, a rival if you will. There had been something between the girl an other boy but I felt that it was over now, and that it was my turn.

The party was semi-formal I was dressed up pretty spiffy and the girls all had dresses on. I finally worked up the courage to go and talk to the girl. I didn't mess up and I said what I wanted to to strike up a casual conversation. After a couple hours of hearing good music and watching others dance I finally asked the girl if she'd like to dance.

It wasn't a slow song that we danced to, but a loud crazy song that had an underline theme of romance. Our dance was silly. We did strange moves that burned the dance floor. It was kinda of awkward not dancing to a slow song, but the smile on both of our faces quickly let us both forget that.

Others had stopped to watch us as our crazy dance became popular, however to me it felt like there was no one else but her there. Sadly the dance ended with both of us staring at each other in the face, getting closer and closer.

Then the music changed and someone called the girls voice. There was the other guy standing on a table with his hand out stretched to her. My heart sank the moment I saw him up there. She turned away from me and walked straight towards him. She was completely oblivious to any feelings I had towards her at all. She climbed upon the table and danced very slowly with him.

I wanted to scream I wanted to get mad and throw something however I saw how happy she was, that smile on her face. I knew I couldn't disrupt her happiness. I left the dance floor forgotten. I wept and longed for something I could not have.

And that's when my dream ended.

It was quite the distressing thing to wake up to I'll tell you that much!
But I thought I should write it down before I forgot it, so there you go.

Initiative

I woke up reluctantly this morning at seven when both mom and dad called...
...
Then I slept for another hour. Then I got up and got ready for the next hour. Then class started and I left my apartment with my weird dvd, brick holding, structure thing. Mom and Dad called because my alarm clock hasn't been going off... wtf is that matter with it?
*inspects the alarm clock*
...
...
Wow I'm an IDIOT!

It seems I've had the alarm clock turned off this whole entire time! Why am I soo stupid? *face palm*

Anyways my stupid tower thing was the best looking one in the class. Go me.
I thought this was going to be the last project in my stupid design course but it looks like I'll have two more to do. Dammit! I was so excited for this class to be finished! In that class I tried drawing Tarala and I wound up making a hunky looking girl... I guess I combined a real life body with an anime head... making it look really strange. I gotta straighten myself out if I am to properly draw your guys requests.

I spend the rest of the afternoon at home playing little big planet. I was making a Mario style level. So I made object blocks and apple monsters (they're suppose to be goombas!) However once I started plopping all this into the level the level started filling up abnormally fast! Oh no! How am I suppose to make a full fledged level when I only have room for the beginning? *tear tear*

I don't know why but my hearts been all a flutter recently. It's just an idea I'm kicking around in my head... it puts a smile on my face. I wonder what she would say if I asked her? I'll keep it to myself till later. I'll just keep thinking about it for now.

I went to extra life after at six today and my first couple pages were CRAP!

CRAP CRAP CRAP! Until a wonderful drawing popped out! Then another and another! Now I have some wonderful drawings of naked people in my sketch book! It makes me happy! I have decided that I am going to go to extra life everyday from now until the end of the semester. Hopefully I can show a big improvement.

Some animation students were there and they were talking to me and my two new friends! (Sam and Steph, they're twins from the AA class.) They were telling us how they go about drawing figures and what to look for in our drawings. I hope they come to extra life every single day with me! It's fun when I have someone there to talk to!

So I have taken initiative! I will do my homework this weekend so that I can go to extra life and hopefully improve my drawings! HUZZAH!

the Video Tower

Today nothing especially exciting happened.

For homework tonight I did have to build a two foot high tower and made it completely able to store dvd cases! I wonder if I'll actually ever use it.... it does look kinda crappy!

The point of the assignment was to build a free standing structure that could support a brick. We were suppose to use wooden dowel rods and wire to bind them together. I said screw the wire and just hot glued everything together. I think mine with hold the bloody brick. I mean it can support my Wii balance board!

I bought Rampage today! I was super psyched when I found it! It was only ten bucks, who could turn that down?

Well anywho, I was browsing the interwebs last night and I found a few awesome things including two videos and this comic!

I thought Jessica would like this video. It's just so blasted cute! I espeically love the angry Pikachu.

This one is from an extremely 'weird' anime

The boy in it is like a school teacher and the main little girl like does extremely naughty things... I don get it, it was my mistake to watch the first episode. BUT the song is amazing and I love it!
There was also a Kirby that played the same song only have Kirby and friends doing that dance... only there was like one part where this snail thing is like 'all over' King DeeDeeDee, so I thought that was a little too awkward for my blog.

I'm settling in for a long weekend filled with homework and not little big planet. If you guys have anything else you'd like me to draw I'm still taking request! I figured I'd get a whole bunch of em, and then sit down on like Sunday and just go nuts!

That's it for me today!

Out!

Haaaaaate

So this morning at about five in the morning, Mary, Thea, Andy (who slept over last night), and myself woke up to our fire alarm going off.

Since there is a speaker in our room that produces the same sound level as a concert sleep was pretty much impossible.

We were all very upset and kinda took turns walking out of our rooms to gaze at the blaring speaker system. Narrowing my eyes I tried to focus all of my hate that I could muster into the speaker. I saw Thea sitting on her bed looking rather upset, and Andy was on the couch turning the annoying buzzer type noise into a song.

Our alarm goes off quite a bit but it's never anything serious. You can tell if it is or not because if it is large amounts of people pile onto the side walk. Since there was no evidence of that it must of been some stupid kid who unintelligently hot boxed his apartment.

Now making angry faces at the system I caught myself shaking my fists at it, hoping that it would be frightened and shut it's self off.

Mary had a different reaction. She took a screw driver and scissors a cut the wires leading to the speaker system. It shut off and life was good. We all returned to our beds happy as can be.

Later I was woken up by Andy telling me there was somebody at the door. I hoped out of bed to the land lord busting in demanding to see the speaker. Two strange chaps were following her so I walked to my room. Mary came out and talked with them as I hid. Apparently they could tell if anything obstructed the fire alarm and fixed it telling Mary that we would be charged for it.

I'm incredibility outraged! This stupid sensitive fire alarm should be able to tell a fire from a hot box! I can see why we don't have a blasted fire alarm in our house.

There's safety, and then there's safety taken too far! I'm not willing to compromise my sleep for a faulty fire alarm. You may argue, but you weren't woken up at five in the morning by it!

To try and tone down my stress I played little big planet, where I found this amazing song!
I love it so much!

I also read Dessi's and Trish's blog. I am quite jealous about their word count, but I really feel like I've plotted myself into a hole.

: <

I do have a chapter to post, but I think I will save in until I can have the follow up chapter, because you might wonder if it was from the same book otherwise.

In other news this was my word verification for Shane's blog, I remembered to take a screen shot of it. It's awesome!

In my final note before I leave, I need to fill out three whole sketch books two of which I can fill with whatever the hell i want! So I'm taking requests for characters!

Give me stuff to draw!
I'll draw your characters I might even make them look good!
I'll draw silly things! I'll draw abstract! I'll be screwed if I can't fill these babies up!

So let the drawings rain forth, and the fire alarms be sent to hell!!

P.S. I picked up Shane's Christmas present today! I hope he likes it!

On the Fence, Flustered

I woke up today at noon today. Which was bad because I had a class at eleven forty. I put pants on and grabbed my keys and backpack and rushed out the door. I was semi entertained on the run to school but everyone who I passed as I ran had a face oh that read: "Ha ha, he's late for class!"

Quickly reaching the third floor I ran pass some friends whom I expressed that I was late, the told me that the in class assignment was easy and not to worry....

(In class assignment? SH**!)

So I had like ten minutes to do this thing and I was feeling rather dizzy. I was also coughing a lot, I think I'm coming down with something, I've had a mild headache all day and my soar throat and raspy cough haven't left me be. Anyways it turns out that this assignment was easy as pie! Seriously, it asked me to create a folder on the desktop and then put a sample picture in it, and take a screen shot! I hate how some people might not know how to do this! The dude marked it right there I got a ten out of ten! Woot woot!

I found my friends, they gave me some extra food they had for breakfast. Then I realized that I didn't have any materials I needed for today's life drawing class. Michelle lent me some of her stuff. It feels good to have friends who can back you.

After life drawing class the teacher wanted to talk to me. Apparently he wanted to know what was going on with my English mark. I told him that I seriously had no idea, I never really understood English. I mean I hand all my stuff in, I've only missed one class. He suggested that I might have an English disability.

That upset me.

Still feeling out of it my friend Mikki offered me a ride home. The snow outside was falling in big hunks of cotter. They reflect tiny little sparkles of light from the street lamps, since it was already dark outside. It was the prettiest snow fall of the year.

Now back at home I'm doing homework. I'm writing this thing in between mouthfuls of chili. I feel so crappy, I think I might hit the sack early tonight.

It's terrible, I have acquired the perfect game for myself. Not one is as excited as me to play this thing! This thing is pleasure incarnate! However I have also acquired the biggest homework load of the year, It all being dumped on my in these past couple days. I feel kinda overwhelmed! And somewhere in between those to things exist a very squished NaNoWriMo...

I'm almost certain now that I won't be able to complete it... sadly.
However that doesn't mean that I'll stop writing! I'll produce a chapter whenever I can!
I might re-write stage 11... I put it up and I'm still not happy with it... or maybe i am... I have no idea.

Oh I also tried to comment on some of your guys blog but I could find the link anywhere to do so! It was quite distressing.

One final thing as I am reaching the bottom on the bowl, I'm really starting to get excited for Christmas. I can't wait to see most of you guys again!

(mental note; read Emily's story.)

The weekend on another planet

I have neglected writing and general blogging because homework had eaten me... then a wonderful game called 'Little Big planet' ate me... well more like I served my self to it marinaded and all! But if you know me at all you should already know that.

But first I must say that I must thank my wonderful friend Becky for driving me home and back.

I loved hang out with my friends and family... I can't wait for Christmas. Aaaaand LITTLE BIG PLANET IS AWESOME!!! *weeps happily*

I have my next stage done... I fought and fought with it, but I still hate it. But it's done and horrible and done!

Stage 11

Curly blonde hair hung in front of her face, thick and layered. She stood the cross armed with a smirk on her face. She had on a red dress… no not quite a dress. There were slits up either side of the dress up to her knees. The only other distinguishing feature that Gix could make out in the long pause he had staring at her was the fact that the dress had a giant black on it. From ink? Or perhaps it was a design of this particular dress. Gix could care less at the moment. A brushing moment passed and Gix had the idea to play it cool.
“Excuse me miss…” he started. The woman stared at him waiting for him to continue. Gix had the words already in his head; he was simply waiting for the woman to address him. The woman gave her head a quick roll and then jerked in Gix’s direction. Gix only nodded slightly with a silly grin expecting her to say something. They stood there staring at each other for a while waiting for the other one to say something. The woman made an exasperated face and then sarcastically commented.
“Yes?!” She did not look very pleased.
“I would like to ask you; who is this Zefer fellow I’ve never heard of him.” Gix still had the stupid grin on his face. Despite the situation, and the fact that he couldn’t see Gix wanted to smack himself in the face really hard.
“Don’t try that with me.” She added in an ice cold statement, “I know that you’re towing around Zefer here, Gix.” Gix froze again. Having a complete stranger say his name made him want to vomit more then the bodies lying on the streets.
“Thank you for the information.” Gix spat out.
“What do you want?” Zefer said in the darkest voice Gix had ever heard him speak. She swallowed hard. Gix could see both of them stammering. “Stop that, you have no right to be doing this.” Gix got confused, it seemed he’d be suffering that condition for a so time now.
“So you can sense my presence?” She said
“Of course I can, you voice speaks too.” He said
“You’re the first one I’ve talk to who could tell.”
“That doesn’t surprise me I didn’t think someone like you would talk to many people!”
“You control your tongue as graciously as you control your sword!”
“You’d better watch YOUR tongue or else you’ll make me USE my sword!”
“I’d like to see you try! You were able to claim---” The woman stopped speaking then. She turned her head to the side; Gix could see her face perfectly. She must have been the same age as him. “What would you know?” Gix felt a tiny tug inside himself. For a second, he could have sworn that she was blinking back a tear. Gix took a step towards her.
“You’re upset, can I help you?” Gix’s stance was open, hands slightly forward, as if anticipating that she would collapse into tears and he would catch her. She glanced up at him.
“No you can’t even…” She stopped mid sentence, now glaring at Gix. Her eyes squinted. Mouth hung open a gasp. “I can’t do it…” Her voice trailed off. She then glanced at Zefer and then back into Gix’s eyes. He regarded her softly.
“Stop that, I said!” Zefer spoke up, almost forgetting that he was supposed to be playing a mute.
“I can’t do it!” She sounded scared.
“Can’t do what?” Gix asked casually.
She was too flabbergasted to realize that she instantly answered. “I can’t read your thoughts…” She slapped both her hands over her mouth. Gix was taken aback. Zefer slid his mask to one side and grabbed the woman by her hair.
“You’re not going to talk anymore.” Zefer brushed open his cloak a bit to reveal that his other hand was on his sword. The woman turned a pale colour. “Gix!” Zefer barked. “Led us to nearest empty alleyway.” Gix nodded slightly and trotted ahead of them. Finding one almost immediately Gix led Zefer to it. His hand still had a firm grip on the woman’s hair she was holding her head as Zefer practically dragged her to that alleyway. Throwing her to the ground, she only had enough time to spin around before Zefer flashed his sword to her throat.
“What is you name?” Zefer asked plainly.
“I’m not going to—“ Zefer jerked the blade forward making her jerk back. “… my name is Nina.”
“Nina you have on minute to tell me why you should live.” Zefer was as cold as his steel. Gix couldn’t help but feel shivers travel up and down his back. Please… please don’t kill her; he wanted to scream out, please. He cupped his hands over his nose and mouth. She was trembling now.
“I know who you are…” Nina started.
“I know that, you can read minds, I want to know why I shouldn’t kill you!” Zefer had reached a point of rage somewhere and Gix wasn’t sure where it was coming from. The throw up feeling hadn’t left him. Nina’s hand were twitching like she wanted to grab something to fiddle with and her eyes were shaking like a thousand different thoughts were running through her head. She was able to mumble something out.
“I can help you…” She stopped shaking so much. Zefer could only chuckle at that. The back of Gix’s neck felt strangely cold. He reached back and touched it. It was blazing hot. Gix felt like he shouldn’t be here.
“How?” Zefer said, less interested and more mockingly.
“You know of what the dark amulet is correct?” She asked.
“Of course I do, you probably stole that from my mind!” Gix could feel Zefer’s temperature boiling again.
“So if I say light amulet do you understand?” Nina’s face was still staring at the dirt.
“What do you mean?” Zefer turned to face her move directly, sword moving slightly away from her. Some air escaped heavily through Gix’s lungs.
“What do you think would happen when light meets dark?” Nina’s tone had been completely monotone, but with a spark of emphasis she continued. “The darkness disappears.” Zefer completely lowered his sword. Her words seemed to strike him stiff. Zefer thought for a bit and then shook his head, his words full of doubt.
“And why would you want to help me?” His mouth stayed open a slit. Nina turned her head almost as if she was trying to look behind her.
“He needs to find peace…” Her words fell flat on the ground.
“Who does?”
“My father.” Nina looked at Zefer in the face. His gazed shifted to the side missing hers. “You killed him. I hate you so much.” Gix was at a loss for words. She sounded like she wanted to fix Zefer’s problem, despite the fact that she detests him so much. Gix’s eye had a sorrowful tone to them, but his mouth housed a smile. Even though she would dislike somebody so much, she would do everything against her better judgment to help them. Zefer stood there like a statue. The tip of his blade was grazing the dirt. As Zefer stood silently unmoving Gix had to wonder if those last words stung him. If even a little bit. GIx didn’t seem to fear those words at all. The pure truth was admirable in Gix’s eyes. Lowering his gaze with his simple smile still on Gix thought that Zefer probably does understand, not being stung by them in the least, he is truly a friend. Gix barely saw Zefer slide his mask back over his face.
Gix was at the entrance of the tiny alley way created by a useable standing structure and a dilapidated one that was still enough intact to house shadows from the midday sun from their eyes. Gix as a caught up that he hadn’t noticed the group of villagers who were pillaging through the ruins standing around him. It wasn’t until one was breathing down the back of Gix’s neck did he start to bristle again. A slight mummer began among them as Nina face was shown dirt ward. Zefer could hear the crowd perfectly but he would not turn around. Shouts soon started out and Gix feared stones would start finding the villagers hands. Gix stood in front of the crowd arms wide open. His mouth hung ajar. He hadn’t asked Zefer what to say when he needed to socially command people. His mind began to race. ‘Words’ is what he needed, strong powerful words. Pages flipped through his mind, but Gix couldn’t find grasp the words on the pages, they flipped by to fast. Gix was tempted to shake the book and let and loose words flow out of his open mouth when he was forced to turn around.
“Excuse me!” It was Nina’s unpleased voice. The crowd seemed to hush at the exclamation of the victim. “We’re trying to practice here.” Gix was facing Nina, eye wide to the strange stance she was holding. Her feet were spread shoulder width apart, but all of her weight was on one leg.
Some distraught villager piped up, “Practicing an execution?” One of Nina’s eyebrows rose away from the upturned corner of her mouth.
“I beg your pardon?” Gix could almost see fire on her saucy tongue. She planted her fists firmly against her crocked hips. “We are famous performers of the enchanted Maul Metropolis!”
Another person just as doubtful voiced his opinion too. “So famous that you practice in damp alleyways?”
“Upon arriving we had learnt that your theatrical building has retired, there was no place else left to rehearse! When had heard about the monster attacking your city and we came to offer a play of hope, but clearly you are undeserving.” Gix’s mouth was still ajar. “Come on boys lets leave this worthless dead town.” Nina lead the way swinging her hips, letting her dress flap excessively to either side. Zefer followed, stern, as Nina parted the crowd effortlessly. Gix shuffled nervously behind. Confused Gix noted that when Nina addressed the crowd she wasn’t asking a question.

------------------------------------------------

I'm a little distracted with homework so I don't think I'll be able to complete my second catch up chapter like I wanted to do but I will say the ride from Petrolia to Toronto is a lot shorter when you sleep for all of it.
