Clean up blog

There where a few things a while back in which I forgot to tell everyone so I thought that I'd share them with you for this late night blog.

-Strange Impact (resolution)

You all know this story. I was able to speak to my friend Mikki about it the next day. It turns out that the other lady in the car wasn't hurt at all. As soon as the cars stopped being in motion, Mikki hoped out of the car to check on the lady in the passanger seat to see if she needed help the boyfriend was swearing his head off. He was telling her to get the 'eFF' away from his car.

Turns out that the lady only needed a few stitches on her shoulder from the window breaking on top of her. The boyfriend didn't let Mikki help the girl out of the car, but later she climbed through the back seat and got out herself. This adds a little more as to the pilness of this black guy. Speaking of Mr. Potty mouth himself...

I guess he really did have a right to be swearing that much. It turns out that his vehicle wasn't insured at all so this accident is going to wind up costing him around 4000$ or more. How much did Mikki have to pay? Sure her insurgence is going to go up a little bit but all the cop gave her was a 150$ fine for running the stop sign. And that was it!

Her mom has connections or something like that and she was able to get a tow truck for free and found some people who will fix up their car for practically nothing! (The damage done to it was pretty much nothing to begin with anyways. Mikki keeps saying how her car is a real trooper.)

So i guess the reason for this car accident to happen was God's way of showing that guy that he should have insurance!

-Travis's and Mikki's Drunken house party

The day after the me and Mikki had a drunken party! Wooo! It was originally going to be big, but then we really didn't get a very big turn out list for all those involved, so we had kinda planned for a small one again. But then A lot of people did wind up coming so we had to scale it up again!!

I bought a little bit of Pizza and there were some chips around so we were good food wise. We started playing Brawl as I awaited for my other guests and Mikki herself to arrive. I proudly announce that I am still the all time champion of that game. One one friend Andy had to go pretty early but I wanted to drink with him some so I started drinking a little early. Once Mikki had arrived I had had a couple in me already. Then we started playing a drinking game.

Needless to say I got drunk waaay faster then anyone else. And does anyone want to hear what I all had?
- 1.5 L of Raspberry Flavored Wine Beverage (6% alcohol)
- 375 mL of Peach Schnapps (24% alcohol)
- 200 mL of Smirnoff Green Apple vodka (35% alcohol)
- plus two shots of Baileys
All that equaled a very drunk Travis. I do remember that the drunken lot of us picked up Brawl again (I still owned all even when drunk) I remember talking to some people and stumbling around. There was one point where me and another one of my friends, Mike, began throw cards at each other. I was upset because I couldn't hit him in the head... (A lot of my friends said I danced around) So it was a pretty good night overall...

The morning sucked. I passes out way before anyone they watched two movies after I fell asleep. (On my bed of course). When I woke up I wasn't feeling that well. I remember eating a slice of bread and drinking a couple glasses of water before I went to bed but it looked like that wasn't enough. So I went to the bathroom and drank a couple more glasses of water. Then went to lay down again. I think I fell asleep for another hour... then I woke up and felt pretty bad. I resolved to make myself throw up.

--leaving out detail--
So I did.
--returning to regular detail--

I went back to lay down and after a bit my friend Mikki came in with a glass of water and another slice of bread for me. She said that they heard me throwing up and she brought that for me. I was touched.

The next day was a slow incline to feeling better. But I remember that knot twisting stomach feeling well. Like someone's trying to make cheese in your stomach and they're using acid to do it.

So this makes me glad I'm only a socially drinker. This works to my benefit because I'm not really all that social to begin with.

-My Day Today

Today I didn't feel well when I woke up because I had stayed up late the night before working on a project. I woke up at 6:00 and tried to get ready for my 8:00 class. at 7:45 when I still felt like poo poo I decided to stay home for that class. I went back to bed, which I'm glad I did, and woke up around 10:30 feeling good and refreshed. I went to my favorite class of the week and handed in my drawing of me as a super hero! There were a lot of good ones I was surprised at the quality I was seeing. After that I mailed my letter to get money for Dad being a handicap, came home and completely cleaning up my apartment! Yup dishes and messy rooms and the like!

It felt so good to have my apartment spotless again!
Then I decided to defeat my evil procrastination and apply to college for animation. It was a long grueling process That took like five hours to do! Well I had to call the company to get my password and user name then I had to set up my account, then I had to edit my user stuff, find my programs I wanted to apply for, fill out more user stuff, then accidentally close down my browser then refill in more user stuff, then get my sister's credit card number so I could actually pay for all this crap! It was a looooong process. But it was worth it in the end for my long conversation with Emily.

I can't wait to make a wish by the Trevi Fountain tonight.

Well have a wonderful sleep all, you can bet that I will!

In my school today

First class...
It was very early... I wish I could fall asleep during class. I don't agree much with this scattered brained teacher. Seriously his dialog runs something like this:

Teacher Bob: My name is bob.
Students: ...
Teacher Bob: Any questions?
Students: ...
Teacher Bob: Today we will be learning about drawing!
Students: ...
Teacher Bob: Any questions?
Students: ... ... ...?
Teacher Bob: You should read your subject outline.
Students: Wha~?
Teacher Bob: Any questions?
Students: : (

Soo in short he sucks and I dislike his class.

Then we had a photoshop class. I really like that class but it was really hard to pay attention to it today. It was a bit more dry and full of facts and stuff that I'm pretty sure I won't use. But since I like the class so much I wanted to pay attention but I just couldn't!
My friends were threatening to choke me with my scarf so I drew this instead of paying attention!

Quick sketch so I know it kinda sucks but I hope I got a laugh outta yeah.

My final class of the day was also dry but something in class caught my attention. We were talking about ideas and emotions and the teacher said there were really only six different emotions: Fear, Anger, Joy, Sadness, Disgust, and Surprise. He stated that every other emotion was just a variation on those six.

I'm wondering... is that right? Can anybody else think of another that isn't related to those six at all? I tried like relaxed is a variation of joy. I can't really think of one that doesn't relate in any way shape or form. Grrrr... burt.

Alright.

That's it for today, short I know.

Strange Impact

It's kinda funny how within seconds a nice casual drive and turn sour.

Today I was getting a ride home. We had parked pretty far away from the school so it took a while for me the driver and her friend to get to the car. I know I don't live too, too far away but the driver offered me a ride home, so I accepted.

The snow and slush had really piled up. It was pretty terrible. but we pulled out of our spot easily. The roads where kinda crappy, but that's because no one pays enough attention to them to get them properly plowed.
There was a back ally type looking road, so we decided to scoot by there less we get interrupted by the strike people from York just one ride over.

The driver was in sort of a hurry to get home, for she had to get home eat and go to work. I suppose, but we weren't driving fast or recklessly. Until we didn't see the hidden stop sign.

There was a stop sign tucked away at the side of the road. The driver didn't see it in time before it impacted with the car ahead of us. The passenger side window was smashed and the car was pushed right into the snow bank.

A lot of things happened in that instant. Swear words where flung, a look of pure horror, regret.

There seemed to be no harm done to anyone inside... well at least it appeared not so. there were no signs of blood loss. The driver hurried to check and see if the other people were alright. The second driver was swearing his head of. I could hear him from inside the car. He certainly wasn't helping the situation.

"This is the second time she's hit somebody." Very negative friend commented as soon as the driver was out of ear shot. The driver returned to the car to grab her cell phone and report it or to get the proper authorities. I couldn't say anything. My mouth was wide open the whole time.

"Go home Travis!" The driver instructed me to leave. So I did. I got out of the car and walked home...

I didn't look behind me. I wasn't injured at all. I didn't really take anything away from the accident.

When I got home I realized I should of. I wasn't wearing my seat belt. I don't ever remember my neck snapping back uncomfortably, so I didn't even suffer whip lash.

How strange not to feel any strong emotion to this crash. Not anger, not sorrow, certainly not joy.

My tired self and weird reaction to the crash have produced my strange take on this event.

I label this all as 'strange'.

Blaahbee boodoo!

Last night I had stayed up late and my class was at eight o'clock this morning. I was thinking. OOooh boy this is going to be fun. I woke up at nine and said... Well F this and went back to sleep.

Now what I shoulda done (since my friend Andy was sleeping over) was gotten up and checked on him and asked if he still wanted to go to class. But I don't I go to bed again. At ten forty five Andy comes and knocks on my door, and wakes me up. He says "Travis don't we have class now." I was thinking we missed it and so I pop online and check. And the stupid thing started at ten forty five! I could of made it but now we were late once more! Poop!

So I got ready and we got there a little after 11. so that wasn't too bad.
After I came home and took a well deserved nap. I woke up did a lot of nothing then did my dishes. The kitchen is so clean! The girls should be happy when they get back home.

I had a spark of motivation hit me for a little bit after my dishes were finished but then it kinda died. I'm think that I'll seriously try to start doing my Wii Fit again. Not that I think that doing it's silly little exercises help but I'm more conscious about my health when I do things like that.

Anyways a couple days ago in class me and my friends Mikki and Andy were practicing being very bad students. But it was so funny. Especially since we were all so tired.
So I made a silly little comic about it.

Needless to say we exasperated our teacher. He wound up ignoring us.

I'm thinking of hitting the hay soon. I'm having another party on Friday, and people are coming! Wooo! I need to somehow figure out how to buy snackums and the like for them, anybody have any good party food ideas?

I'll talk to you all later.

Drawin Old People

Today after a long and very tough day of schooling I went to go and improve my naked people drawing skill by going and drawing naked people.

The naked person they had lined up for us was an old woman. Not sagging face and gray hair type of old person. If I could venture a guess I'd say about late 40's or early 50's. Maybe mid 50's.

Anyways she seemed pretty excited to be there, it seemed like her first time on the job. Well whatever I just needed better at drawing naked people...

...

...

I think she was a mother. Yup don't ask me how I knew. PLEASE DON'T ASK ME HOW I KNOW! But It was VERY obvious that she had given birth. Not to mention that but she also must of lost about a hundred pounds! She was so very saggy!

You people might not of guessed this but drawing a naked person is really hard because you're looking at bones and muscles. Skin is taken for granted and I draw it in my pictures and that's all fine and good... But when that skin is VERY saggy then that's another element you have to draw! And it's really hard! So I wound up with the most cracked out old lady in ALL of my pictures.

So I guess for my blog today I would like to inform you all... drawing old naked people is HARD!

Oh youtube, how i enjoy you so!

The first week of school is here and almost gone. Just one more day till the week end. All of my classes that I have now... They all feel like I'm getting a giant pat on the back for passing my first semester classes. Makes me kinda happy.

Some of my classes that I'm looking forward to is a photoshop class. Seriously it looks like a class completely dedicated to photoshop! it's gonna be friggin sweet. Another one I had today was stylistic drawing. Basically what you need to do if you're interested in drawing for comics books and touching on some animation. That class already told me what I did wrong with my Manga that I made a couple of years ago.

IT seems the process to follow with making a manga is; Idea, script, design, story board, produce, print.
The process Thomson and I followed was; Idea, produce, print. We missed three HUGE steps! Makes me kinda ambitious! Gosh! I wish Motivation was sold as like a soft drink or something! I'd buy a million fridges worth!
I have quite a few games I want to make with Shane, among the few are; Zombie, Fantropics, Microcaum (sp), and once I actually become useful, any games I can properly pitch to him. I want to make another RPG with Jessica, I like the title 'Change'. I want to finish that story I was writing a while back 'waiting'. I want to finish my manga deal 'the infinity rule'... Man I haven't touched on that one is so long, I almost completely forget the plot... actually we never really came up with a plot at all... there was never a true script to this story, and dammit I wanna complete it! I want me and Thomson to finish... and well me to start that Vangelise Manga that we were coming up with. Actually I was hoping that this stylistic drawing class could REALLY help with that. There is also Emily's story which I'm... well I'm not really the writer at all but I help her come up with ideas. I can't wait for her to finish that. And Method Six Jess! OMG you have to finish those books! I'm surprised me and Trish never came up with some sort of plot together... all I can think about with Trish is that little girl we came up with that had meter stick long eyelashes! And well other then that I have a few more independent projects and ideas scattered about.

I want to do them all! And I want to have them all finished right now! Or at least have like Enough motivation and time to complete them ALL this year! ALL OF THEM!
... You know what? That'd be a crazy Year year's resolution...
Yes that's my goal! I want to resolve to complete all of these!
... or maybe I should pick a few and resolve to work my hands off doing those...
Which ones do I pick?

Well anyways I'm resolve to do something by February. Maybe I should focus on trying to apply for animation here again and brush up my portfolio and complete that.

That's a vague idea of my goals this year.
*makes a silly face*
